In this final article in the series, we’ll go over, ‘Boost your income by adding cross sales and high-price products to your business.’
One of the challenging parts of selling online is finding customers to make that first purchase from you. It takes the most time, effort, and nurturing. You have to build a relationship so that they get to know, like, and trust you.
Once you’ve crossed that hurdle, and, providing your product/service did its job, customers will be happy to buy from you again and again. Yet, many business owners place their focus on marketing to get new customers. While this is a ‘must do’ and, an ongoing task, you should also continue to promote offers to your existing customers.
Naturally, this is challenging when you’re first starting out and, or, if you only have one product. But’s that’s okay. We all must start somewhere.
Research and ask your existing customers what they need help with to reach their next goal. Create products accordingly and add to the mix, while also bringing in new customers on a regular basis. That’s how you grow your business and income.
As you launch each new product, you’ll find that you make cross sales, because a portion of people who bought product A will also buy product B. Then when you market product B outside your current customer list, new people will join the mix and they may be interested in product A. The result, more sales per customer with each product you launch.
But that’s not the only thing you can do. To really increase your income, consider adding some high-ticket products. One way is to put together a bundle and offer that as your high-price product and include exclusive bonuses.
Another great option is to offer coaching or consulting. This works particularly well for “how-to” products. For instance, the initial offer is an ebook training course and the high-ticket is one-on-one with you. This can be in the form of emails, instant messages, phone calls, video conference, VIP Day/Weekend, or group coaching.
Consider also “done-for-you” services. If your info product is about installing software, offer a high-ticket upsell service, where you install and customize it.
Get creative and create one high-ticket product/service and implement it within the next 30-days?
Can you do that?
Hope you found this 7-part series informative and I would love to hear if you implemented any of the recommendations via the comments box below.
