Email marketing is one of the most effective marketing methods that is used by thousands of small, medium and even large businesses.
However, how you build your relationship with clients/customers, position yourself and your value proposition is fundamental to your email marketing success.
Providing consistent value and honest interaction with your community is what will make it ‘easy’ for you to extend offers via email that converts well.

In this article, we’ll probe into ‘Why you should promote affiliate offers to your clients/customers.’
You put a lot of time and effort into building your customer list, so why on earth would you use it to promote other people’s products?
Understandably, you feel protective of your buyers, and rightly so, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t promote other people’s products and profit from it.
For instance, reflect to when you first got the idea to start your online business, you didn’t learn from just one person, did you? You didn’t buy one course on list building, social media marketing, you didn’t subscribe to one webinar, newsletter or YouTube channel…. Instead, your hard drive is chock filled with a bunch of resources. Not to mention you bookmarked a ton of great sites, blogs, forums, you get the gist.
In short, you learnt as much as you could from as many sources as possible. We all do, including your clients/customers. As such, why not help your people find what they need, and benefit from it financially?
Done right, it’s actually a win all round. Here’s how:
Promoting Affiliate Offers To Your Customers Benefits Them
Do your due diligence and research, or review products to make sure they’re high quality and can fulfil your audiences’ need. Think of it as vetting or screening on their behalf.
Once you’re satisfied, promote it to them. You can take it a step further and add special bonuses, or, “how-to” instructions as a bonus when they buy through your affiliate link. Another fun option is to ask the product creators if they would set up a special coupon for your customers. That’s always a winner. Your customers will buy from other people, but you can also provide them with benefits outside your products and services.
It Benefits The People You Promote
The nice thing about promoting a product for another entrepreneur is that you’re helping her out, and if you have an affiliate program yourself, you know how rewarding it is when those sales start to come in. It helps them to extend their reach and gets the word out about the work they do, which ideally, will complement yours, making this a win-win.
It Benefits You
You’re going to earn money, obviously and since you’re helping your fellow online business owners, they’re likely to recommend you, your products and services to their audience. That in turn benefits you, again.
